You truly are, what a friend should be
You've revived the heart, that was blackened within me
Knowing what to say, and just what to do
My sorrows are made happy, and my worries are few
Listening intently, when I need an ear
Ready with a hug, to calm all my fears
Constructive critisizm, or just good advice
Life without you, just wouldn't suffice
I couldn't imagine, how the world would be
Without good friends, in times of need
Only taking what you need, fully giving without shame
With you the term "a friend", has been given a good name
From my heart and soul, I swear these things are true
For I am truly blessed, to have a friend like you
